ExpoCECOP

For the 2026 edition, I developed a complete visual identity system inspired by the event's central theme: "From Sight to Connection", a reflection on the importance of human relationships and personalised experiences within independent optical practices.
Challenge
Create a visual identity capable of expressing the value of personal connection in an increasingly digital world, while remaining flexible enough to scale across a large international event held in multiple countries and formats.
Solution
The concept was built around the idea that visiting an optical practice is a multisensory experience that extends beyond vision alone. To represent this, I designed a system of five abstract geometric symbols, each corresponding to one of the human senses.
Combined with a vibrant colour palette and a bold black-based visual language, the system created a distinctive and flexible identity capable of adapting across both physical and digital touchpoints while maintaining strong visual recognition.
The identity was implemented across events held in Spain, Portugal and Italy, demonstrating the flexibility and scalability of the visual system across multiple markets and formats.
Outcome
The project resulted in a cohesive visual experience implemented across three international events. The identity successfully translated the concept of "From Sight to Connection" into a flexible graphic system capable of working across both digital and physical environments.
The edition received highly positive feedback from attendees and stakeholders, reinforcing the strength of the concept and its visual execution.
